Charles S. Margosian Sr.

President: Charles S. Margosian Sr. founded Highland Management in 1985 after completing his first retail development project in McHenry, IL. Since then, he has grown the company into a leading owner and manager of retail and office properties in the Chicago suburbs with 14 assets totaling more than 1,000,000 square feet. During the late eighties, Highland Management also served as receiver for foreclosed assets on behalf of a large savings and loan institution. Prior to founding Highland Management, Charles S. Margosian Sr. was in lending/loan workouts for several years with various institutions including John Hancock and Bank of America Mortgage. Charles S.Margosian Sr. has a MBA from Clark University in Worchester, Massachusetts and BS from Babson College in Wellesley, MA.

Charles S. Margosian Jr.

Managing Principal: Charles S. Margosian Jr. joined Highland Management in 2005 in the capacity of acquisition and development manager. Working together with other team members, Charles S. Margosian Jr. is responsible for lease negotiations, property and asset oversight as well as sourcing and financing new acquisition and development opportunities. Prior to joining Highland Management, Charles S. Margosian Jr. was a Principal with Walton Street Capital in Chicago, IL and an Associate with The Blackstone Group in New York, NY. Charles S. Margosian Jr. has a BS in Real Estate and Finance from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Charles S. Margosian III is an active member of ICSC, a board member of the Chicagoland Association of Shopping Center Owners (CASCO) and an emeritus member of the Next Generation Board of the DuPage Children Museum.

Judy E. Magree

Senior Property Manager. In 1985, together with Charles S. Margosian, Sr., Judy E. Magree started Highland Management Associates, Inc. Working together with other team members, she is responsible for management of the retail and office properties. Prior to joining Highland Management, she was an assistant vice president and lending officer with a Chicago area banking group.

Linda Elmer

Controller. Linda Elmer joined Highland Management Associates, Inc. in 1999. She handles the daily and weekly accounts payable and accounts receivable needs to ensure that the monthly and annual financials are current and accurate.

Laura Glaser

Administrative Assistant. Laura Glaser has been part of the Highland Management team since 2013. Laura’s role is to provide the day-to-day general administrative support to all aspects of the business.
